  7 Henderson Row Edinburgh EH3 5DH i'm from yorkshire, home to the best fish and chips in the uk. in the whole of scotland i've only found the anstruther fish bar to be comparable - i was fed up of paying over £5 in edinburgh for invariably not freshly cooked fish, always sat waiting in the heater cabinet. l'alba d'oro usually cooks to order - and the quality of the fish still shines past the £100 champagne on the shelves behind highly recommended.
